Airport Tempelhof in Berlin, Germany
Tempelhof International Airport is an important airport of Berlin , Germany . It is located at the -central borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg.The airport is considered to be the world's oldest commercial airport. It was also the first airport that was connected to a subway network. This airport is also popularly known as city airport, at present this airport is mainly used for commuter flights that flies to other German cities of neighboring countries but previously many international flights landed here. There are two runways at the airport and both of them are paved with asphalt and these two runways are of 2094 and 1840 meters respectively.
Tempelhof airport is simply outstanding; it is well decorated and has plenty of shops and coffee shops. Though the air traffic is not very busy, the overall air traffic management of the airport is good. Some of the major airlines that fly to and fro from this airport are as follows:

It is a nice experience to fly from Tempelhof airport, the airport is well decorated and the airport building has high historical value. The airport is suppose to close down in the year 2008 for other uses, still may people argue that there are requirement of this airport and the airport building should be preserved. Above all, the fact is clear that till today, this airport has high importance and many passengers prefer this airport.
